France, Etats Généraux: 4 milliards d'euro pour un Service d'Intérêt Général du logement
Organisés à l'initiative de l'ensemble des acteurs du logement, soit une trentaine d'organisations, ces Etats Généraux du Logement constituent une démarche partenariale totalement inédite visant à refondre la politique du logement pour mieux répondre à l'urgence des besoins des habitants. 1300 personnes ont répondu présentes à l'appel lancé par les organisateurs des Etats Généraux du Logement ce 4 mai à la Mutualité.
Parmi les 15 propositions présentées au ministre, la formulation d'un véritable Service d'Intérêt Général du Logement financé par le 2% du PIB.

133 organisations néerlandaises de logement social ont déposé un recours à l’encontre d’une décision de la Commission européenne. Ladite décision stipule que les organisations de logement social n’ont le droit d’attribuer des logements sociaux en location qu’aux ménages dont les revenus annuels ne dépassent pas 33 000 €. Cette décision a pour conséquence que les ménages à double revenu seront contraints d’acheter un logement ou d’en rechercher un dans un segment de location plus onéreux.

Amnesty International ha chiesto alle autorità italiane di riesaminare un controverso piano abitativo che ha causato lo sgombero forzato di centinaia di rom e che spiana la strada allo sgombero di altre migliaia di persone nei prossimi mesi.
Questo piano potrebbe essere preso a modello per eseguire sgomberi forzati in altre regioni italiane. Uno sgombero effettuato senza consultazione preventiva e senza l'offerta di un alloggio alternativo adeguato a tutte le persone colpite è una violazione dei diritti umani.
